Privacy Policy

Last updated 22 October 2026

Postcarder does not collect, store or share any personal data.

Your photos stay on your device

Postcarder opens the photos you choose and saves the images you create to your photo library. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Location

Postcarder reads the location stored in your photos. When you take a photo in the app, or tap "Use current location", it also reads your device's current location. This is used only on your device, to show maps, place names, coordinates and weather.

Apple services

To draw maps and look up place names and weather, Postcarder sends the relevant coordinates (and, for weather, the date) to Apple Maps and Apple Weather. These requests are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy and are not linked to you by Postcarder. Postcarder has no servers of its own.

Purchases

The optional Pro purchase is processed by Apple. Postcarder never sees your payment details.

No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking

There is nothing to sign up for, and Postcarder contains no advertising, analytics or tracking of any kind.

Children

Postcarder does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
